Centrifuge is used to separate magnetic
and nonmagnetic solids from liquids. Widely used methods for
liquid filtration and their drawback or limitations are as
follows:
1. Magnetic Separators:
Limitations: In this method the non-magnetic
particles are not separated thus the filtration is not
complete.
2. Paper Band Filters
Limitations: The paper band filters during the
filtration get soaked with oil and thus have to continuously
replaced in turn increasing in running cost.

The centrifuges offered by M/s Das

limitations, can be used for cutting oil as well as water
soluble oil and can filter both magnetic and non-magnetic
particles upto 20 microns, with no wearable or replaceable
parts; thus no recurring cost. Higher filtration can also be
